| Madam
G came to BCCSC for financial assistance in 1999. Her husband died in a
tragic car accident in October 2000 and left Madam G with financial debts
and two young sons to look after. Distressed with her misfortune, Madam
G turned to BCCSC for help.
As her husband used to be the disciplinarian at home, Madam G could not cope with her children as a single parent. Her eldest son was academically poor but Madam G, being illiterate, did not know what to do. BCCSC intervened and helped to enrol him in a special school. He is now more obedient and responds more positively towards Madam G. To facilitate Madam G's full time employment, BCCSC has arranged for her younger son to attend our Student Care programme. BCCSC has over the
years provided practical help and emotional support to Madam G. She is
more confident as a single parent and is able to manage her children better.
Madam G also consults BCCSC in matters regarding her finances, employment
and children. |
