Founded in June 1996, BCCSC has been serving the social needs of the children, youths, families and the elderly within our community through a number of programmes such as the Sunshine Club Student Care Centre (in Bedok North and Bedok Reservoir), sports outreach, home help services for the elderly, school-based social work and professional counselling services.

BCCSC is a voluntary welfare organization and a member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS). Since its inception, BCCSC has depended on voluntary donations from individuals and organizations to run its many services.
